Born and raised in Sandy, Utah. With over 10 years of personal and 3 years of professional photography experience, I fell in love with photographing anything that came my way.
I’m 32 years old, born and raised in the wonderful state of Utah with the best mountainscapes & abundant wildlife! In early 2019, I made a life-changing decision to turn my beloved hobby into a professional career, supported by my husband and family. I left behind my previous occupation as an Optician to become a stay-at-home mom for my wonderful son. During this time, I gathered my photography equipment and began executing my game plan.
Reflecting on the past, my journey with photography took a significant turn at a certain point in my life and opened my eyes. From a young age, I always had a disposable camera in hand and prioritized photography over other elective courses during my high school years. I even worked in a portrait studio for a few years. However, amidst the busyness of life, I lost sight of this passion until I had my son. It was then that I rediscovered my love for photography and realized the importance of not missing out on life's precious moments while being consumed by our daily routines.
Fast forward to August 2020, when Jenise Ivy Photography was established and took off successfully. As we approach our upcoming business anniversary, marking three years of operation, we decided to rebrand ourselves as Ivy Grove Photography. This new name better reflects our evolving culture and aligns with our vision for growth. Now, I am here to provide others with the opportunity to step away from their busy lives and cherish the beautiful moments and milestone, while I capture and create their unique stories with their loved ones.
As a mom and wife, I know how incredibly important it is to capture all of the stages of life. Whether that's a couples session in a new relationship, an engagement session, your baby announcement and maternity sessions and all of those family sessions with the kiddos & pets.
